Can't download on HTC Touch (Sprint)?

I tried to download Xumii onto my HTC Touch (Sprint), but it flashes a Java error and then closes. I can't tell what the error message is because it flashes so quickly.

Also, it is detecting my device as an HTC Hermes. Is this the proper name for a Sprint Touch, or is there an error of some kind?
