Crowd Science Ana replied on June 26, 2009 02:07 to the problem "'Site tag found in head but may be commented out'" in Crowd Science:
Hi Russell -
Thank you for bringing this up to our attention. Although our script tag checking mechanism is not properly finding the script tag, our start.js file is still being called correctly, and our system is able to recognize it. We'll continue to look into the issue, but please disregard the message at the moment.
To preview the user experience, simply go to your "Sites" tab, and click on the “Invitation” link.
To edit the invitation, our the "Sites" tab click on the name of your site, and then click on the "Invitation Settings" link found on the right hand side.
Please don't hesitate to contact us with any further questions, or if you encounter any issues at help@crowdscience.com
Thanks!

Crowd Science Ana replied on June 24, 2009 22:01 to the question "Direct link to survey?" in Crowd Science:
Hi there -
Thank you for your inquiry. Our methodology uses random sampling techniques to ensure that your sample of respondents is representative of your website's audience. Although you can try the approaches that you've brought up, we found that static links or direct calls can bias the data, compromising its validity.
Hopefully this helps to answer your question, but please don't hesitate to contact us again with any further questions.
Thanks!

Crowd Science Ana replied on June 12, 2009 21:04 to the question "Why is my survey so long?" in Crowd Science:
Hi William -
Content-specific questions are dynamically injected in the survey based on the categories you've selected when configuring your site.
To reduce the amount of questions presented in the survey, all that is required is to select a fewer categories on your "Site Settings" page. To edit your categories, visit your site's overview page and click on the “Site Settings" link located on the right hand side.
We are currently working on a feature that will allow publishers to prioritize their selected categories so our system will know which topic-areas to focus on. Furthermore, we'll also provide the flexibility to select separate modules of questions to help you construct a survey that better suits your site's needs, while giving you further control on the survey length.
I hope this helps, but please don't hesitate to contact us with further questions.
Thanks for using us!

Thanks for taking the time to provide your feedback Noah. We agree, and are currently working on giving you the option of showing all of your results in order of incidence. We'll keep you posted once this option becomes available.
At the moment you’ll note that most of your data is shown in order of incidence. There are a few demographics such as age and income that we decided to leave in ascending order as these are generally viewed this way, but we see the benefit in changing that.
If you have any further questions please don't hesitate to send us a note. Thanks again.
