Chuck's dashboard

My GO 700 stopped responding to any commands. It boots successfully, and the default screen is visible. When I touch the screen to do anything, a visual response from whatever "button" is pushed is visible (such as the "Navigate To" button will highlight as if it has been touched), but nothing happens beyond that. This can be done repeatedly on many buttons on the screen, and the visual response is there, but the 700's software does nothing in response to continue.

I have reinstalled a restore from the connected computer via the Tom Tom software, but the same thing occurs.
