I am disheartened that we cannot use the word jailbreak anymore :/ – ct2k7, on August 13, 2009 21:05

Well, my employees I refer to the unnamed forum staff. Look at O2-IRE as an example, they have a great little community going on! – ct2k7, on August 13, 2009 20:58

Now the thread "Very slow 3G speed" has been removed .
Here's the thread:
Hey all,
I bought an iphone 3gs last week and initially used it with Orange. Once they sent me a 3g sim card I was able to access their 3g network and it was very good - web pages loaded quickly and I was able to stream. (coverage was great too).
I then saw that o2 have sim only packages that work out a lot cheaper per month so I am now on one of their simplicity packages with unlimited data. However I am very disappointed to see that 3g coverage is awful when I am (just out side Edinburgh), but even more disappointing is that when in a 3g area, the speeds are very very slow (sometimes the page doesn't even load at all)
I was just wondering how everyone else's data speeds are just now that are on o2 simplicity?
I've tried some different settings but they all seems to be as painfully slow as each other.
Thanks
Rich

Cannot mention the word "jailbreak" on O2 Customer Forums?http://forum.o2.co.uk/viewtopic.php?p...
In that thread, I asked if the OP had jailbroken his/her iPhone. My post was removed with reason:
Hello ct2k7
We’re sending you this message as we have moderated one of your comments.

Now, how on earth am I encouraging jailbreaking my asking if he had jailbroken to be able to use an unauthorised carrier's SIM card?

The network should improve as O2 gain more money to expand further, however, it is ultimately up to Telefonica, or the CFO. – ct2k7, on July 28, 2009 14:55

O2 employees should be more active in the customer forums.O2 employees should be more involved in the O2 Customer Forums. Currently, the categories and such need a complete overhaul, as there are insufficient categories and every iPhone question is dumped into "Technical Question" forum.
ct2k7 asked a question in Apple on July 27, 2009 00:24:
Will there be support for MIDI media?Hello, will we see support for MIDI file playback on the iPhone/iPod etc.? It's been 3 years now, and I'd like to see the phone or mini-supercomputer play midi files through the iPod app. It's not difficult to code, is it?!
Thanks :)

The IB team are doing well, and I thank them for this! The development and support team are doing well at dealing with requests, and certainly, Ray Morgan is outstanding in trying to improve customer communications.
