They have a separate part for it. Basically, that dock has different inserts, and they provide you with a batch of those inserts so it will work with your kind of iPod. I had this same questions, and I e-mailed them about it and here's what they said: Thanks for your inquiry. If you can provide me with your address I can have this part sent to you at no charge.
