Firefox 3.5 supportFirefox 3.5-RC1 is out, which means a real release is not too far away. Will the extensions be working with 3.5 anytime in the near future? Thanks!

Strip * when not shortening URL'sWhen adding a * in front of a URL to avoid shortening, it would make some sense for the * to be stripped from the unshortened URL before posting to other services, as it makes no sense out of context.

curiousstranger replied on May 04, 2009 16:47 to the question "Mark all as read in PR filtered items.." in PostRank:
Mark me down as another interested in this functionality. The prime reason I have for the need: if I'm only looking at the Great posts in a folder, and I mark all as read, recent posts in that same folder that haven't had a chance to receive "engagement" and boost their postrank will never be seen by me. If I could mark just those displayed by the filter as read, recent posts will have a chance at getting enough postrank to get my attention.

From your twitter message earlier: "we now support SUP (http://ow.ly/4ypI) for user activity feeds! developers, look at the headers to get started! #feature"
Is this for topic feeds, and if so, could Google be persuaded to use it?
A comment on the problem "Feeds are not coming through to Greader" in PostRank:
This is a symptom of the problem I describe over here: http://www.getsatisfaction.com/aiders...
Because the personal topic feeds are likely to only be subscribed by a single individual, they aren't scheduled to update very often in googles backend, even less often the less you check the feed. Because the feeds generated by Postrank only contain 10 items, you'll lose everything but the last 10 items in the period between google's updates. Either Postrank needs to include more items in its feeds, or they need to work with Google to get google to check more often.
Feel free to go vote on my other question and hopefully this will get some attention. – curiousstranger, on May 01, 2009 03:20

An update on this. This is definitely putting a serious crimp in the usefulness of topic feeds. Any fast-moving topic with more than a few sources will result in the vast majority of posts never showing up. Let's say Google Reader only updates my topic every 4 hours (I'm not sure if this is the case - if anything it might be worse, since personal postrank topic feeds would only have one subscriber and thus be de-prioritized for updates). If your topic has more than 10 posts in it a 4 hour window, you will never see them. For smaller, slower topics, that might be fine, but for high-volume topics with a large number of sources, it doesn't work well at all.

This just occurred again (http://getsatisfaction.com/aiderss/to...). I'm fairly certain its related to posting a question without being signed in. After signing into the interstitial login box, the wrong topic is used. – curiousstranger, on April 29, 2009 22:28

To make sure I'm understanding you, "Manage" lets you add feeds to existing global topics, not create new global topics, yes? I think a Swine Flu topic might be timely. Alternately, a way for someone to discover a user's topic other than navigating to that user's page might be useful. I have a Swine Flu topic, but if folks search for it in the search box, it doesn't come up.
