Larry, thanks a lot for the response. I seemed to have remedied the problem by moving to Aperture today - no problems with the metadata now.
Nevertheless, I had been using iPhoto 7 (with OS X Leopard - all updates applied), and my Canon SD870 camera. The images were directly imported into Iphoto from the eye-fi manager, and my edits included cropping, exposure changes, brightness/contrast/etc. I did not change file types - always kept as JPGs. Finally, I was viewing the metadata in the Finder, by File/Get-Info.

Nevertheless, I'm very happy with the card - you guys have done a great job, and I look forward to whatever updates might be down the pike.

Does iPhoto erase the geotag EXIF after editing an image? It certainly does appear to be the case. Is there a way around this most unfortunate problem?!

Nevertheless, when I go to the docs page for my domain, I get the loading error - nothing displays on the screen - just loading with the address in the address bar jumping between the http and https version of the site.

Any ideas?

google gears will not load in firefox - keeps trying to load page (loops). I've tried clearing all cookies, privacy settings (and I'm using OS X by the way), but no dice. Keeps looking between the HTTP and HTTPS versions of the page with "loading" - with no result.

With Firefox 3 (release candidate) on OS X, the Mento button installs fine but when I try to add a link to Mento, the popup login box comes up, I login, but the login doesn't seem to "take" as the edit link box turns back to the login screen in a few seconds. I've verified that I'm using the right email/userid and password...
