Dean, if I recall correctly, Miro 1.2.x had a function to assign files on the harddisk to a feed's episode. I'm not quite sure on this. If this feature wasn't in Miro, it was probably in Amarok or less likely in gPodder.
This way it was only possible to assign one file at once, which is a lot of work, if there are a lot of downloaded episodes, but it was possible.
cyberpatrol asked a question in Participatory Culture Foundation (Miro) on March 11, 2009 03:59:
How to import or assign already downloaded episodes to a feed?Due to a problem with the latest Miro update I had to rename the directory ~/.miro and let a new one be created. Then I wanted to try something else and wanted to copy sqlitedb from the old ~/.miro to the new one. Unfortunately it was moved, not copied, by my file manager. So I accidentally deleted my sqlitedb. So I copied a pretty old one from an older backup to the new ~/.miro. The feeds and the directory structure (internal and on the harddisk) are the same.
Now it shows all my feeds and the internal folder structure correctly, but my already downloaded episodes are listed only in the media library, but aren't assigned to the feeds.
So how can I import or reassign the already downloaded episodes to the feeds?
