I picked up a CipherLab 1105 barcode scanner. You can buy different com cables for it, including USB. I've not had any problems with it.

Scanner on ebay was $35 USD. USB cable was another $20 or so.

It would be nice to see some kind of search... even if not a "real search".

On publish, you could put all media items in an xml file, then use javascript to parse through that (mock search), and then when a user clicks on what they want, jump to the area where the items is by using a named anchor.

While it'd be nice to post directly from email/im/sms, right now you can do this via several other services including ping.fm (it's great).

I'd much rather the plurk team spend more time working on several of the issues currently plagued by plurk, and improving the karma system.

Specify directory for different items. - Help better orginize iTunes.

With everything available via iTunes these days, my iTunes directory is getting huge, and I've talked to others that are in similar situations. - Not enough space. Movies, TV shows, music videos, music, iPhone apps, audiobooks, end everything else.

It would be nice if iTunes would allow [advanced] users to specify locations for different "media types". This way, libraries could be better organized, backed up, and even spread out.

i.e.
Music: x:\iTunes\Music
Music Videos: x:\iTunes\Music\Videos
TV & Movies: y:\videos
Audiobooks: x:\itunes\books
...and so on.

When I view the Plurks I've responded to, I am only given a couple for "yesterday: and beyond. I know I've responded to far more Plurks that it is showing me. Most of what shows up are private plurks.
