http://www.iphonesandy.com. I scaled back from my original vision. I need to learn more iPhone Web Dev but this should serve you guys well in the mean time.
Feel free to send me any feedback. You even have a beautiful home screen icon for easy access.

Bricoleur .... I believe we had similar interests in a charity about education and now regarding sandy and iPhone. Would be great to connect once again. ex VP for R2R – joshie, on August 20, 2008 10:28

I designed this for the iPhone so I guess yeah this should work on a normal mobile browser since I am only using form elements. I have not tried this in those environments. – Fox Mulder, on August 19, 2008 13:10

Awesome... now can we implement that across mobile devices? (not just iPhone?)????? I'm already "hooked" on Sandy!! – CZ, on August 19, 2008 13:05

I created a mock up and this runs a back end database that can store all the entries entered into the iPhone I posted this to another question about this and just discovered this post. This does not recreate the admin portion of the site. It is for quick and simple execution of tasks to Sandy. After all this is all about interacting by email.

That's perfect. The stars are aligned both in the constellations and our postings. In this case the star is Lana Turner. I'll definitely check out your post. – Fox Mulder, on August 19, 2008 00:12

Great work Fox! Had to laugh. Had just emailed a blog post that mentioned a Lana Turner poem to my friends and thought I'd emailed you accidentally!
You can check it out the original post here if you're interested (and there's a link to the poem): http://www.43folders.com/2008/08/06/l... – Dougal, on August 19, 2008 00:09

kevin1 replied on August 09, 2008 06:51 to the problem "changed the tag on an item, but it doesn't show up in search" in I want Sandy:
You were probably searching in the search box on Sandy's website. This doesn't search by tag, it searches for text. It probably searched for all items that contained the text phrase "@giftidea".
I'm guessing that you created the item as "remember blahblah @giftidea". That means that the text phrase "@giftidea" is part of the "context" of that item. And it's never going to change. Thus, searches for the text phrase "@giftidea" will always return that item.

Not a solution but a bit of a help...
I've created a couple icons on my home page to link to frequently used Sandy pages (for example lists)...
In the grocery store I can simply hit the icon for Sandy Lists and will go right there without having to fiddle with home page first.... still not the same as native app... but a bit of an aid while waiting
