A comment on the question "Could not decode stream while playing FLAC" in Songbird:
and how do I check it for errors? Additionally, how to check many files in one batch? Moreover, how to repair if the error found? And still the question - it does not do it every time on the same file - if there is an error, it should always not be able to play the file, so what is happening? – Ichigo, on August 02, 2009 09:07

A comment on the idea "I want songbird to wake me up!!" in Songbird:
Not necessarily. It could be done from sleep mode, if motherboard supports it. (At least this is what I've seen as a function on one of such wake-up apps). Additionally, if someone is running laptop on Atom processor - it is not so much energy, your refrigerator is consuming probably more. However, yeah, you better reserve nature - our planet, our home. – D, on August 01, 2009 10:30

Poor Start up performanceWhat Start-up times you have?
I have 15-20 seconds on X2 Dual Core 2.10GHz, 3 GB, Win7 x32. It is a really slow start up. Is there a way to make start up faster?

but you still used software to rip 300 of your CDs. So why not to have this functionality in Songbird (as add on). I had to use iTunes (again) just to rip 1 CD I got this weekend - very annoying to switch from one software to another, rip in one, edit in other. I am not such a music fun to spend hours arranging my music - a simple solution in "one pack" will do it. Bring CD ripping and CD-PLAYBACK to Songbird!
