DailyMe’s 3rd Release is Live TodayToday we are unveiling our latest release of DailyMe, featuring better personalization technology, a new community area and our much awaited behavioral recommendation engine, NewstogramTM, both on DailyMe.com and in our Publisher Solutions Suite. NewstogramTM lets you see the categories, people, companies and topics you’ve been reading about and will make story recommendations based on your interests. NewstogramTM recommendations are made in the ‘Headline News for You’ area in the center of our home page and also in the right rail of most other pages.
Our latest version has furthered our efforts to provide individual users with personally relevant news. It also encompasses a community area where users can discover and share news among one another. It further advances the user-centric approach that DailyMe believes will best serve news audiences.
Lisa Lamb replied on August 13, 2009 15:37 to the problem "I can't set the delivery time or choose topics to follow" in DailyMe Inc.:
HI Patrick,
I am going to answer this in 2 parts -
Regarding the the delivery setting - I am not sure why the delivery time changed, that is something we will try to replicate on our end & troubleshoot. To set up a new delivery, you will need to make sure that you have checked off at least 1 selection in each of the columns including the first, News Selection.
Our delivery platform allows you to select the content that you want to receive at various times throughout the day. So if you do not wish to receive all of your content selections at the same time, you can schedule as desired. (Sports in the afternoon, Business in the morning for example) This should remedy the delivery issue you are having.
We are experiencing temporary technical issues with adding content, however you are able to add content by entering a keyword or topic (1st method displayed on the page). The issue is only related to adding content by means of Category or Source Selection. We anticipate this being fixed within a few hours and apologize for the inconvenience.
