@fbar, I love your recording upload feature on the rjdj.me site, and that I can play recordings online. But what I'd really like is access to the uncompressed audio recording direct from the phone. Reason is, the uploaded audio hosted on your website seems to be 64kbps, with a fairly nasty handling of transient noise sounds and lots of annoying mp3 swoosh, and that only gets worse when I remix the recording then re-encode the whole thing as mp3 again.
That is important enough for me that I actually jailbroke my phone *just* for that ability to access recording, as per the suggestion on your website, although the accursed phone defiantly refuses to work with my telco when it's jailbroken, so I had to restore the apple firmware.
Anyway, trying the backup extractor path - but I'd be really happy if this were a native feature of the app. just sayin'.-

does openid work for the iusethis facebook app? I can't see how.Congratulations getting openid to work. makes my life much easier. however, I can't work out how to use it for your facebook app. when install the facebook app it asks me for a username and password, which as an openid user i didn't have. well, in fact I linked a normal account to my openid, so now i do have an account, and that seems to work, but it seem to defeat the purpose of openid just a little.

hm - why not then for searches also? so if i search for ragga, should there not also be a "ragga" rss feed I can subscribe to to stay up to date on sound-cloud wide RSS? (or at least if browsing by the tag "ragga" i would expect it, but I don't see tag based views as yet)

for my part, I'd really like it if I could have both my dropbox and my dashboard feed provide a proper RSS enclosure of tracks (at least ones i have permission to download). If people are sending me tracks to spin on my radio show, which is my usual case, I want them to slurp them up with my podcatcher in the background whenever i get online without having to manually download them. coz otherwise soundcloud is *harder* to sync than a simple public FTP drop box, which seems to defeat the purpose of the service a little.-

Nothing to do with safari subversions. I just upgraded to safari 3.2.1, leaopard 10.5.6 and the problem still doesn't occur for me. No crashes for soundcloud, ever. atomicskunk, I'd love to hear whether you are running flash 10 or not, because I'm holding off on upgrading my version of flash on the basis of your bug report.

for what it's worth, I run an similar conf, but with a recent macbook, plus my edition of safari 3.1.2 is loaded with many extensions that tend to make it more flakey (google gears, inquisitor, developer, greasekit, 1password) and I've never made it crash on soundcloud. maybe flash is the key? my version is 9.0.124.0, according to http://www.macromedia.com/software/fl...
