Hi Dan,
You can enable the Sortable table attribute in your table as shown below.
Edit the page, right click on the table, click the Table properties, and check the checkbox.
I can't promise we''ll be able to get an import for your tab separated or comma separated data into a table. However, I'd recommend that you get a Spreadsheet plugin if you need that. See this page for a few details.

Importing data will require that you set up account at NumSum. Details are on the page I just referred you to. -

How to supercharge the Directory Page Template?When using a Directory Template, I wonder if it is possible to enable the "sort" function? So far, the order of the names is only in the order I type them. While I can "insert a row" (for example), I cannot globally set "Table Properties" or get the info to display alphabetically. Also, it would be nice to be able to import tab separated data from standard spread sheet formats. -
