Tumblr is getting better and there are a lot of people from here there.
This is sad, but I keep hoping things will change here so we won't lose too many people. Helpful hint: If you use the same name people can find you.

I guess you're right. I have a tumblr, too, and it is fun. I just really liked it here better because it was more social. I'm using both sites now, and who knows how I'll feel in another month or so.

Charles, That is my main point, and it has ruined SU for me pretty much. I'm trying to find some reason to stay. Even if they fixed everything else is this really still a social networking site? I don't think so. Maybe if everything else was just right I could live with this social site that is not social. I just don't know, and it is something I am antagonizing over every single day.

Maybe V4 is better for bloggers, Elle. The regular users are the ones that are doing the most complaining. I mostly photoblog, and that is so much harder. Even using frames is harder, and the refreshing. Don't get me started. The colors are a big problem. The small print still hasn't been acknowledged. The tag cloud. Reviews. I could go on and on, but why bore people to freaking death. I miss the friends and always will, but that is a lost cause and I've given up so please don't worry. That's just sad to me, and the scripts do not make up for it in my opinion. Sorry. I've been too depressed to try the backgrounds for V4 yet. I'm sure they are very wonderful and all and I appreciate the people that make them. An assurance that the groups are not going to be ditched would be nice, but I think they'll be the next to go, and then Elle, I hate to say, perhaps even the blogs will be next. I don't know anything at all. I'm not friends with any developers or anything. That is just a gut feeling, and it's damn depressing and not something I want to see happen. I'm trying to decide if this is a place I want to invest a lot of time and energy into anymore. It is a hard decision, because I care about so many people here.

Serinadruid, I'm afraid you are correct about the 3000, but I guess I'm just hard headed. They must have invested tons of money and time to make it less user friendly, and so much less social.
If they even made just the changes I've seen you suggest it would be a major improvement. Hello, is anybody out there?

Well said, Charles. I just want my vote in. I'm hoping if it gets to 1,000 maybe this topic will get some attention. I doubt it, because it is pretty obvious they don't care what we think one little bit. I was not here when V1 or V2 were here, but they had to be better than V4 is going to be. Why not bring them back if you have to change, and let us give them a try?

There is no way this version is more sociable. That is just not true and we all know it, right?

There is no way this V4 is more sociable. Saying it over and over just does not make it true. I'm afraid the groups will be the next to go.

Bring back the visual editor. Please do something where we don't have to refresh after ever single edit. Is there a thread for that, too? They're so many threads about stuff people don't like it's hard to find anything.

I don't like the new interface at all. It's not growing on me, and I have tried. Why make people work so hard, like the code writers, to make V4 more like V3. This does not even make sense.
