I understand that this may appear to be a small issue if you are outside the issue and I appreciate you trying to make me feel better ... but the bug is a reputational concern for our organization and one we want to see fixed. Unless you can show me hard facts that people don't judge based on stars. : ) If they don't, why is there a website dedicated to ranking things by stars?

Danielle Simpson reported a problem in Ourfaves.com on May 07, 2009 16:20:
Ourfaves.com rankings <> to Google.ca maps reviewsOurfaves users can give star rankings. Google.ca picks up these rankings and creates star reviews based on ourfaves.com ranks. But ourfaves.com rankings don't match the ones on google.ca
To reproduce: Go to Google.CA and look up the Art Gallery of Ontario or the Royal Ontario Museum. Check out a google.ca review that reads as really positive but has only one star. Go to the originating view on Ourfaves.com and you'll see that review gave the museum a 4 star. But google.ca shows as a 1 star.
Based on this article, Google recommends that I address my concerns to you because their part is automated. http://maps.google.ca/support/bin/ans...
