The good news is that it was nothing on our end and Amazon has fixed it!

Eler, Editing metadata with Songbird shouldn't corrupt your files.

We would need sample files to explore this further. Perhaps you can post some of the files you had problems with at a site like rapidshare and send us a link so we can look into this a bit further?

Assuming you do this, we'll definitely open a bug and add you to it so you can watch the progress. We might have a few followup questions too. Thanks!

Beyond the 0.6.1 release, no. Unless someone creates and offers a community build, we will not be offering Songbird 0.7 or later for PPC Macs. You can download an archived binary of Songbird 0.6.1 for PPC here.

While we are no longer doing nightly builds for Mac PPC, we are still doing integration builds. These are integration builds for developers. They do not provide end-user packages, but provide developers with useful information about the build. See our buildbot page. Madison is the builder you're interested in looking at.

It doesn't mean anything; we still have Linux PPC patches; but again, there will be no officially supported builds for this platform.
