Thanks for reminding us of this -- sorry that this thread got lost in the noise earlier.
I've looked at the problem again. This is a bug on Mixx' side, their date format is broken:

According to the RSS 2.0 Specification at
http://cyber.law.harvard.edu/rss/rss....
which refers to RFC 822 at
http://asg.web.cmu.edu/rfc/rfc822.htm...
this should rather be:

I just sent them an email about this. If they don't manage to fix this in the next few weeks, we can fix it on our end -- but I'd much prefer they do it on theirs.

Okay, I think we finally got this bug: The problem was that the RSS feed refreshed only if a new post was added through soup itself (via bookmarklet, repost buttons, or by creating it via the + button). We've now changed things such that a new post from a feed will trigger an rss refresh, too.
In summary, your rss feed should now get updates whenever your feeds do (actually, something between instantly and 1.5 hours later, which is how often we check RSS feeds for updates).

Position of Mixx items in LifestreamI'd like to use soup.io, but I've noticed that when I add my Mixx feed, the items are imported to the very front of the lifestream, instead of under their proper dates. Is there anything that can be done about this?

Thank you for your interesting :o)
I invit you to join our community on MyBlogLog :
http://www.mybloglog.com/buzz/communi...
Or suscribe to our feed :
http://feeds.feedburner.com/life2front
It's good places to receive my announces while you could create an account ;o)
I frozen users recruitment for these reasons :
- Lifestreaming require higher server ressources... And I'm limited yet :o(
- I not finish user and admin board to manage users subscriptions... I hadn't enough time to manage more accounts myself.
- And not finish friendstream product to follow our friends network.
But LiFE2Front is a platform, and I will launch new network powered with MyBlogLog and FriendFeed related to my future "Social-Score Contest"... Anybody who get higher score could create an account.
