Hi Bernard,
we are looking into this issue. ETA is one week.
We currently advise you to either use the work-around or to switch OS X synchronization 'OFF' (in the Soocial pref pane under 'System Preferences') if you are experiencing this problem.
We're sorry for the hassle, rest assured we'll get to the bottom of this. Thanks for working with us to fix these issues!
(Work around will be posted asap)

hey ptoly,
we totally understand your frustration. We do advise you to turn OS X sync OFF for now, till we have deployed a fix. Alternatively we have a work around that I will post soon. – Daniel Spronk, on February 06, 2009 14:04

Hi Higui,
that's a good question you're asking. A lot of effort and money is being put in Soocial so yes, we do expect a return on this investment in the near future! :)
Our ideas aren't set in stone yet, but we would like most people to be able to use Soocial for free. Expect to pay for advanced features or if you have thousands of contacts for the consumer version.
Our business products will be paid services. (business pay so a lot of consumers won't have to!)
A comment on the question "How do I manually setup a phone?" in Soocial:
Hi Lyanna,
Your settings are fine.
we've had a look at where it's going wrong (although the Synthesis SyncML client is officially not supported by Soocial yet).
It seems to bork on the note field. We've applied a fix to this and will be deploying this fix beginning of next week. I'm using this app for my iPhone as well (till we have our own) so I'm anxiously waiting for this fix as well!
Hope this gives you the necessary info. – Daniel Spronk, on December 11, 2008 11:15
