don't worry even though the Soocial interface doesn't show the Notes, they are still there. So you don't have to worry about lsing your notes field. In the near future we will be updating our interface to show notes and other fields (i.e. birthday etc.) – Daniel Spronk, on November 16, 2008 10:28

Sorry, we don't sync with Lotus notes yet. We have an API so if you're a developer you can feel free to write a plug-in yourself ;)

cool! :) Yeah the initial activation can take a while especially when it's busy. Successive syncs are a lot faster and usually take place almost directly or within a few minutes, depending on the server loads.

Yeah, sorry should have been clear. To be honest we don't know! It should work, since we're a SyncML compliant server.
We haven't seen anyone confirm that a Funambol client works as well.
Maybe you'll be the first! ;)

sorry about the hassle. I've scheduled a dedupe job run. Thanks for sending us the error report, we'll have a look into it and fix it asap.

Where you abe to make any backups or look into the automatic backups we make after you sync the first time with a new "connection"?.
If something wrong it's really easy to restore from a previous snapshot.

we have heard from other users that they have been successfully using a SyncML client from Synthesis (a swiss company).

The catch is that it costs like 35 bucks.

We'll be working on our own client but it will take a while, as smartphones like Blackberry, iPhone and Android are higher priority atm.

yeah we'll be updating that soon, for sure before we release our BlackBerry client (ETA is now within one month).
Since we started to plan to support BlackBerry, RIM has come with some new models (which look quite sexy, esp the Storm!)

we've been testing with Outlook 2003 and Outlook 2007 on XP and Vista. We're not sure if Outlook 2000 will work.
If you have a backup in Soocial you can always try. If something goes wrong it's dead easy to restore your contacts from a backup.

Let us know how things go.
