we're pushing some long awaited code optimization/fixes to Soocial.com which will improve, among other things, the the syncing with our engines, like GMail.

yes there is a possibility to manage which contacts are synced to Highrise and which not. Click 'Edit this contact' when selecting a contact in the Soocial webapp and check the 'Work contact?' checkbox to indicate it should sync to Highrise.
Theres a little icon that will show up on the contact list, next to the persons name to show it's a 'work contact'.

We know it's rather limited atm and we have a whole new system in the works that will allow you to tag and filter contacts. You'll be able to tag which contact goes where.

thanks for giving us this feedback. You're right we don't show all the connections on the 'Contacts' page when your contact list is still empty.
We'll fix this soon.

If you go to the 'Connections' page http://www.soocial.com/connections ,
or the welcome page http://www.soocial.com/welcome you will see all the connections you can sync with.

Hi Mptpro,

you don't *need* to setup the phone in our webapp, if you manually setup your phone. The setup in the Soocial webapp is for automatically configuring your phone, which is done by sending a text message.

Once you sync your phone, it will automatically appear on the 'Connections' page.
