Your fix didn't work for me but it pointed me in the right direction. I had to rename the Application Support folder, create a new one and copy all the items across. I wouldn't recommend this approach for everyone but it worked for me.

It's returning messages to you? That's not right at all!

Can you e-mail an example of the messages to me: null (at) invalid (dot) name include your full number, which network you're on and roughly when you had this happen.

Ideally a drop-down can be added to the LJ settings page on ping.fm to select which timezone to post from.

Whenever I run Spotify I get a dialog saying: "Warning! Internal Error 1". When I click OK Spotify closes.

I'm using an Intel mac running 10.5.6

Peter Hellberg's reply to "airport compability" was just promoted to the most useful! Dan Lane and 12 other people think it's one of the best replies.

One solution is to use Airfoil from Rogue Amoeba. It lets you play any sound over AirTunes. (Even system sounds if you are using OS X).

We use it at our office, and it works ok with one AirPort Express. Unfortunately our solution does not work that well with more than one AirPort because the delay will be different between multiple AirPorts.

I would obviously like Spotify to implement it directly in the client. (But then you might have to reverse engineer the AirTunes protocol?)

I had the same problem, the scrambled posts made it to Twitter, Facebook, identi.ca, kwippy and my custom URL.

It's worth mentioning that I almost always update using the ping.fm site (either the main site or the iphone site) and don't use a BlackBerry.

E-Mail as an "external network"

Hi

I'd love to see E-Mail as one of the available "external networks" for notifications.

It would allow us to use any number of networks and services that allow e-mail updating (ping.fm, Livejournal & wordpress being a few examples)
