I'm having this same problem, I'm also using Vista and I've looked everywhere for that file...not finding it.
Seriously, there's not an easier way to just log out of an account? -

[Disclaimer] You *could* break your other twhirl accounts if you mistype or misdelete. So be careful. At worst, you'll have to wipe your settings and start over.[/Disclaimer]
1. Shutdown twhirl.
2. Open in your favorite text editor:
C:\Documents and Settings\(username)\Application Data\de.makesoft.twhirl.(randomstring)\Local Store\accounts.xml
2. Look for:
<account>
<username>foo</username>
...
</account>
Where, "foo" is the account you can't remove.
3. And delete that whole block of code. (Make sure you don't delete any code from the other accounts, and make sure you don't leave a blank line before or after the account you remove.)
4. Startup twhirl and check your accounts.

Twhirl won't delete my old accountI used to use Twhril with an old account. Recently I deleted that account, but deleted it on the Twitter website before deleting it on Twhirl. Now whenever I log onto Twhirl it asks me to log into my old account, instead of my new one like I would like it to. I then open a new connection with my new account and log in, but I can't seem to delete my old one from popping up each time I log onto Twhirl. I've gone into settings and tried to delete it both on the the old account settings, and the new one. I deleted Twhril, but even so it still happens. Some help would be appreciated.
