Dannyboy replied on May 06, 2009 19:37 to the question "How do I setup google analytics on a sitemasher website?" in Sitemasher:
Thanks very much. This is very helpful. Im not that familiar with Advanced SEO strategies so didnt think to look there for entering in my Google Analytics account number.
Global insertion as you have described is dead simple. I suggest moving this feature out of the Advanced SEO category as its not obvious something so simple would be placed under a tab titled "Advanced SEO" Might be better to call it "SEO Mgmt for Dummies" as any one could implement basic google analytics tracking without having advanced SEO skill set.

Fiscal Responsibility: Ford = Yes, GM/Chrysler = NO WAY!Thank you Ford for being more fiscally responsible than GM and Chrylser. I own ford bonds that are due in June. These make up a large % of my retirement funds. I would hate to be a GM or Chrysler bond holder. Thanks

What if I have already published the page. Can I unpublish a single page. Also if I have the page setup in my navigation is there a way to hide the navigation to the hidden page or do I need to develop a seperate navigation bar that excludes the link to the hidden page. Im trying to build a site for my client that is fully spec'd out even though not all the content is ready.

Option to selectively publish individual pages?I am building a site but have a few pages that wont have content ready for when I publish the site. Does sitemahser allow the user to selectively decide which pages should be published and which should not be published. ie, is there a flag that I am not seeing that would allow me to toggle between published and not published by page. If not how can this be accomplished. I dont really want to have pages publsihed without any content and at the same time I want the site structure all ready to go for when the time comes that we can populate the page with content.
Thanks
Dannyboy replied on September 18, 2008 18:28 to the problem "Content blocks and duplication of text" in Sitemasher:
Thanks Pat, your suggestions worked. I cleaned my text using the remove formatting then reformatted in Sitemasher and that seemed to fix the problem. I presume my MS word file had some tags or hidden formating that was messing things up. Interestingly when I copied the text into the content block using Firefox I didnt get any text duplication. The problem seems to be isolated to the IE browser.

Content blocks and duplication of textI was adding text to a content block and noticed after I saved my changes the text was being duplicated 2 sometimes three times. I copied the text from MS word. Im wondering if the problem stems from the fact that Word is bringing over hidden tags that is not being read correctly in the text editor. Could this be why my text is being duplicated in the content block or is this a different problem. What is the best practice for bringing in text from other applications be it PDF documents, MS word or ppt data. Thanks

Password Forgotten ButtonI just tried to retrieve my password as I forgot it. It appears the submit button on the Forget Password form is not functioning correctly. When I press the button the screen flashes and nothing else happens. I also do not recieve an email. Can this be fixed.
