Hey rgalgon, this is definitely a bug! You can fix this by the following:
1) Load the book editor, and wait for the book to finish loading.
2) Right click anywhere within the book editor, and select "Settings". An Adobe Flash Player settings window should popup.
3) At the bottom of this window, there are some tabs. Click on the tab that looks like a folder (third one from the left). This should bring you to the Local Settings window.
4) In this new screen, there will be a slider. Drag the slider all the way to left, which will reset any cookies that we have set in the editor. After you click on the "Ok" button in the confirmation window, reset the slider back to "100kb".
5) Close out of the settings window.
After you do this, bring up the Add Photos window in the editor, and try connecting to Flickr again. Hope this helps!

Hey rgalgon, this issue has been fixed, and is waiting to be deployed to our public server – which should happen this Thursday. I'll check with our server guy, to see if we can push out the change sooner.
Unfortunately, setting the photos to public, then back to private does not fix this problem. For security reasons, Flickr resets the location of the images each time you do this.
