Still waiting for an answer. It corrected itself briefly last night but is doing the same thing again today. I text...it goes into the ether, never to be seen again. Only site postings work.

URGENT!!! I can't post updates via Ping.fm from my phone. It will only update my networks if I post from the site. This is UNACCEPTABLE as I have a big event tonight and need to be able to text updates. All my settings indicate that I should be able to text/post from my phone. What's the deal?

Okay, I updated my settings and it seems to be working at the moment. but it'll probably take a day or two to really know for me.

I don't have a Ping.fm app on my MySpace homepage. Is there one? If you're referring to the Ping.fm homepage, it says "posting" under MySpace, like it does all my others.

Hi Adam, I'd say some days it will rarely update properly, some days it's pretty good. All in all, I'd average it works half the time and doesn't the other half. My "fix" is that when I have an important update, I'll double check my MySpace to see if it's there, if not, I'll do it manually. Which kind of defeats the point, ya know?

Wait, I just reread what you wrote Jedi (not enough coffee yet)...I am having the opposite problem, sort of. My status and mood blocks are often not updating at all. My home page is fine because I've loaded a Twitter badge on it (since I have a music page and the player blocks it).

re: the home page update, I thought it was just taking awhile, too, but I've had some updates never post at all. Maybe it's an issue with just the music pages...

Ummmm...what MySpace are YOU using? Cuz mine does. No, it doesn't show on the actual page but it shows in your account, which people can see when they are logged in to THEIR accounts. If you're not utilizing it, you are missing out on a really great promotional tool.

While you're at it, Ping, multiple MySpace accounts would be a beautiful thing, too! Once again there I have a private page for just friends, I have a fan page for my music AND I have a page for my voice studio.

Well, Mike up there and I are hoping for an actual legitimate response to the question, but since you brought it up...I'm a musician. My "fans" don't need to know all my personal business, like what quizzes I take or my conversations with a childhood friend. That's why I have a fan page AND a personal page, which are linked to each other because of Facebook's requirements. Unfortunately the status updates aren't linked. It's a pain in the neck.

I think A LOT of people have more than one MySpace account. Also, some of us have both personal Facebook accounts AND fan pages that would also benefit greatly from being able to update multiple accounts.
