Argle-bargle! I know! Support has really gone downhill since LaCie took over. – Craig Blaylock, on October 21, 2009 00:38
A comment on the problem "Wuala dosn't load on startup in linux (ubuntu).." in Wuala:
It's Jolicloud, and I'm not entirely sure which environment it's running. There isn't a seperate instance of wuala running, and no it isn't working now.
It ran fine when I installed it according to the readme, but after a reboot, the app won't seem to run anymore. It just sits at that point in the loader. – Craig Blaylock, on September 27, 2009 17:48

A comment on the praise "Wuala is great, but I can't get my friends to use it!" in Wuala:
Maybe some kind of in-browser client that doesn't require a login but can still access folders marked public?
The download and the login are the only hurdles that seem like they'd be removable, and a lightweight client like that might be a gateway that'd push them forward to the full application. But that seems like a lot of work for what would probably amount to very little overall benefit. – Craig Blaylock, on September 09, 2009 18:47

A comment on the idea "wuala mobile client" in Wuala:
I'll put in for an Android client as well, though to be honest, my G1 probably isn't up to it. Maybe the myTouch or one of the others. – darkeye11547, on September 08, 2009 21:26

Luzius said that if everything went well, it would be solved in a few weeks. We're coming up on the 3 week mark, any chance we could get an update? – darkeye11547, on September 06, 2009 07:25

I'm very happy to hear about this. FSI is the only thing that wasn't working when I moved to Windows 7. Here's hoping the workaround isn't too difficult! – darkeye11547, on August 20, 2009 12:11

Crashing due to poor wireless connectivity?I recently moved, and until AT&T comes to install my delicious Uverse connection next month, I'm stuck living off the scraps of an excessively kind neighbor's wifi.
However, the connectivity is rather poor, and the local airwaves are practically smothered with traffic. While I don't seem to have difficulty uploading or downloading files, Wuala seems to crash whenever the connection is interrupted and Vista flips out.
I'm not exactly sure if this is the cause, but coming home at the end of the day and finding Wuala's crashed minutes after I've left has been hurting my share rate.

Sorry it took me so long to get back to you on that, it seems too have worked though. I just rebooted and Wuala came up just like it's supposed to. – darkeye11547, on February 13, 2009 17:40
