Tab utilisation

I would like to see the ability to open new tabs and to choose what content is in them. Not just internet sites, but visualisations, play lists, sound modification (stereo enhancement etc), mp3 tag editor. Tabs could be linked together so say two playlist tabs could be linked so that one would be played after the other, so that instead of one large messy playlist, you'd have a few smaller well thought out ones.

Too complex? Maybe.

I'm in agreement, it got to the point where i dont know where the media player ends and the internet begins. I personally prefer the windows media player library layout.

Hide internet features.

Hide internet features. So when your using songbird on your laptop away from an internet source you can keep the interface simple and clean and wont be annoyed by features that don't work.
