oh wait, I've just realised a few buttons work (stop and forward/backwards skip) but not others (play, pause and fastforward/reverse). Thanks for any help guys.

Media remote control with songbird?
I used to use windows media player to play my music but now have converted to songbird. The only problem I'm having is using the media remote control I use with my PC. It's just a basic USB infra-red remote but it's having no affect on songbird even when it's on-screen. It works fine with WMP and itunes.
