comp station advertisments else where on the web - could bring in more usersallow for advertisments on various sites to have a link to a pandora advertisment station - good for bringing in people who might click on an advertisment that are not part of pandora already...the trick is to not distrub the browsing experience to much ( something pandora has to work on considering that when i book mark a song it simply opens up another window "please stop that its annoying") but its a feature that needs to experimented with - could be good for you tube advertisments and what not.-

Dave replied on May 03, 2009 22:59 to the question "Does Pandora have keyboard shortcuts?" in Pandora:
yeah this needs to be made more easily avaliable to users - plenty of users would appreciate short cuts.
my recomendation is to feed users a pop up every so often - 1 at a time - explaining 1 of the shortcuts
the reason i say this if you notice how google puts out blog posts about every new feature - what this effectivley does is helps people to learn about each individual feature as they come out - thus increasing the likley hood that people will see them and pay attention.
so teach us 1 short cut at a time and it would be appreciated - a simple pop up bubble would be useful

Cubist Castle's reply to "Birthday reminders for Gmail contacts" was just promoted to the most useful! Dave and 2 other people think it's one of the best replies.
Plus this would allow better synchronisation with Evolution contacts/calendar (maybe other software too?) I copied all my local contacts into a Google address book but found the birthdays weren't kept, so I have to maintain three separate address books (one Google one, accessible on both of my computers, and a local one on each).

saved emails should show up in gmail/integrate task 3rd part task managerwhen i save a message for later - find a way to have it automatically starred or at least visible with in gmail.
also find a way to integrate with online todo managers like nozbe so that we can create tasks from within OTB from emails and then associate the task with the email it self

kindle - help with dyslexia and text to speech issuesamazons kindle - i know they had to modify their text to speech feature to give publishers the option of this, though having a family where dyslexia has been prevalent and seeing many of them use audiobooks to slow down the reading of materials and help them understand it - since they have trouble reading - i feel it would be useful for amazon to raise the useful ness that such a feature coulde be for people with learning disablities and how publishers should allow the book if in fact a person is learning disabled because it might help them out.

Facebook and the x-prizefacebook could possibly be used to forward the x-prize movement by taking people from all walks of life and helping them to collaborate and get things done in various places and possibly bring all these things together and get them done.

add phone numbers/email address/documents/tasks/maps/pictures to the mobile version of gmail.allow us to attatch phone numbers and email address to the mobile version of GCal so that we can look at an event and call people who are attending it. also allow us to link documents with calender events and tasks as well.
attatch phone numbers and emails and documents and tasks to events as well as locations and maps. - it be amazing - and pictures.

Itunes/Songbird seemless integration with pandora - do it!!!Become seemless with apples itunes - both the version on the ipod and the PC/mac - this way several things can be achieved - you can access how we rate songs - be able to deduce what other songs we like based on what songs we have in our library
and for the mobile version - i would be able to leave my apartment with pandora playing and walk out of wifi and not notice a difference as my itunes library picks up and as i walk back into wifi pandora would be working again and - once more - seemless integration - not notice a difference.
A comment on the question "Bring back the Gmail Search the Web option!" in Google:
its unnessesary and any thing that is unnessesary simply takes up screen space, you have a bar in the browser it self, why do you need another bar in gmail...useless in my opinion.....sides....just hit "cntrl + T" for a new tab and then search using it, no need to disturb gmail – Dave, on February 24, 2009 03:23

worthless considering there is always a little search bar in the firefox frame work or in chrome for example there is one bar that searves as a omni search bar - why take up extra space on the interface if its not neccesary, sure i bet you dont want to change your ways but in the end its better for the future of gmail and its look. make it smooth and make it sleek and get rid of any crap that is not neccesary
