Does second brain get the tags from Blog feeds?I have two blog feeds and I'd like to understand how and if second brain includes the tags on the blog articles.
I use roller and snipsnap and the generic connector.

Differentiating between authored and favourites in FlickrYou represent authored content in Flickr as a single line. I like this. It looks like you take the results of a single upload and represent this as a second brain entry; although I suspect that this is a flickr thing.
On second brain any flickr favourites are represented as single entries. I think that grouping those done around the same time would be better.
Also, they look very similar to all other feed entries. In my case they are decorated with my Logo, which looks wrong, to me, on my updates feed. I can see how if I were sharing them with more people, having my face as the sharer would be good.
The problem is that they look very similar to a flickr entry of my authored content.

Tag Cloud looks out of date on Second brain Front pageI have visited http://davelevy.secondbrain.com/updates today and the tag cloud displayed looks pretty out of date.
It looks dominated by the Flickr Tags, when I would expect the tag cloud to be dominated by my delicious feed which is significantly larger.
Is there a problem? It may be that my expected results are wrong.

Wrong Thumbnail for Roller BlogThe thumbnail pictures of the screens associated with my blog, http://blogs.sun.com/DaveLevy which is an Apache Roller instance are the blog server's front page. It would be better if the thumbnail was either the current view of my blog, or of the permalink, held in the guid tag.
When I say better, its an important improvement if it worked the way I suggest.
This is a second brain front page issue only, if you use the hyperlink it shows the correct i.e.permalink picture.
Similar problems occur with the snipsnap blog, I'll document them in more detail if you decide to look at and fix these problems. I know that Snipsnap is not sufficiently used to necessarily warrant work, but Roller is.

Is there a tutorial on using collections & libraries? Is there a tutorial?
In particular what are the differences between a collection and a library?
How are people using these features?

Just to understand you, you like the idea of using people reputation from other categories of activity at living social to allow them to earn the right to propose applications and its on the Request for Enhancement list although with no resources assigned.
It'd better be done quick since the issue is at its most acute when a new category is launched, although its interesting to see what's made it and what hasn't.

Why is the limit to propose an app so high?I have just tried to add the mighty 'ipint' application to the list of apps on the iphone and have been told that I need to post 20 before I can post one. i..e you need to support over 20 apps to introduce an app to Living Social.
1./ If I write to the moderators, as suggested, do I get credit for finding the application?
2./ Can't you take my reputation from my other categories of Living Social use? I have posted about over 20 books and some films.
There are some other very obvious applications missing which I'd like to add. (It seems that I am not an average user and the apps I have down loaded are not necessarily sufficiently popular to get into your directory.
This limit is not a good thing to do, and I think my idea of taking the reputation from the other categories is an answer for you. Will you do it?
Dave
I know that ipint is an advertisment, but I think it's funny and as I said there's some very obvious ones missing.

Thank you for this Michael. Nice Blog by the way, I just need to do some more research on this but sounds good.
One would have thought that changing the installer to leverage your workroound would be trivial. – Dave Levy, on January 30, 2009 09:26-
