Songbird deletes music from my iPod
Whenever I plug in my iPod it mounts it to the computer and then syncs it. I then tell it to unplug from the computer safely (hit the eject button) and then I go to listen to music only to discover that my iPod has no music on it. I have to run through this process a few more times including connecting and reconnecting my iPod to my computer until finally it shows that I have music on my iPod. Is there someway to fix this. I read online that something along these lines was happening on an older version of Songbird (sometime around March, there was even a Wired article about it). Please Help!!

That web page does not say anything about updating my iPod's software...am I missing something or are you making the point that Songbird does not support this feature?

How can I update my iPod?
How am I supposed to update my iPod using Songbird. I believe that it will need updating but I don't know how to use this through Songbird. I love everything else about Songbird! I just need a way to update my ipod (and it would be nice to get pictures and videos on it too!). So if you have any advice on how you update your iPod let me know!
