Options menu stopped working

Options menu has forgotten password. It also does not recognize clicking of ANY button. Nothing happens. This on on an XP machine that worked fine until recently. Tried reinstalling but no change.

Repeatedly prompted for password

Recently I began to be prompted for a password with every screen repaint: A username and password are being requested by http://friendfeed.com. The site says: "FriendFeed API".

I have tried id/pwd, id/key but still get prompted every time.

I am not sure who this is so it is difficult to check of the payment went through. I did not see any payments with these initials. If it did NOT, you will get an email tonight with a link to a payment page.
