I think probably the better solution would to allow Mollom to integrate with the Captcha API, and not have to re-invent another captcha API within Mollom. See http://drupal.org/node/363672

Does the anonymous user role on your site have the 'post with no checking' Mollom permission enabled? If so, you should probably uncheck it since it will prevent Mollom from checking the posts of anyone logged in.

I also have a goal that I'm only able to afford a certain $/month, way less than the 'automatic' amount that is set for the end-date of the goal. Being able to set a date and override the amount contributed per month would be great!

I would think it would be best to start out with a basic CSV import and/or export. Nothing too fancy, just assure us that this is being worked on. Then we can debate about XML, other formats, etc.

Yeah, Miles Price Gallon (MPG) makes more sense to me. The current format is confusing.
