Just some praise for BumpTop.

There is a great deal of innovation here and even though there is still much to be done I am truly impressed with the amount that has been achieved with BumpTop. I have been trying out various 3d desktop metaphors/interfaces for a while now and this is the first one that is usable and practical.

I am currently accomplishing this using a utility called SeqDownload.

I use it to download images on a schedule from various sites and put them in a single folder. I then point one (or more) Bumptop picture frames at the folder(s).

Image URL (not RSS) option in Photo Frames

When you create a photo frame, make one of the options a image url so that auto updating web-cams and the like can be used. The image would just update from the source during the image refresh.
