Dave reported a problem in Plurk on June 03, 2009 21:14:
Plurk is sending me email in languages I do not speak. When a user adds me as a contact or friend, I receive the notification email in their language preference instead of my own. While the notification email is easy enough to click my way around to get where I want to get the information I need from it, it would be much less frustrating to get the notifications (and all email comunications for that matter) in my own language. Otherwise, who do these notifications really benefit?-

A comment on the question "Is there a desktop application for ping.fm?" in Ping.fm:
Since mentioning MePing, I've since started using thwirl again which now supports posting to ping.fm. I disable posting to twitter on ping.fm and use thwirl. Whatever I post to twitter, also gets posted to ping.fm which in turn gets posted to everything else. a great solution if you use a twitter client to keep up with the latest messages and what not from your contacts. you loose the ping.fm special features this way, however. – Dave, on May 01, 2009 16:41

Dave replied on April 22, 2009 13:05 to the idea "Not all apps need to be added to wakoopa" in Wakoopa:
I myself would rather see the system tray icon get a bit more functionality with either a notice indicating Wakoopa has detected a new application and a prompt as to whether or not allow the application to be logged or - to be less invasive - to present the user with a list of newly detected applications and the same prompt (albeit in a batch presentation) before each upload of the tracker data. The latter, of course, assumes that the Wakoopa Tracker only periodically uploads the data as opposed to real-time tracking, as I assume it does.

This is pretty similar to what was proposed by Steven here: http://getsatisfaction.com/wakoopa/to... – Dave, on April 22, 2009 12:59

Dave reported a problem in Wakoopa on April 22, 2009 12:39:
Wakoopa Tracker not properly detecting GTK+ applicationsGeany (http://wakoopa.com/software/geany) is no longer being detected by the Wakoopa Tracker. I surmise that this issue is due to it instead being detected as "Bin" (http://wakoopa.com/software/bin) as hinted at here: http://wakoopa.com/executables/geany-exe. Seems other applications that use GTK+ are affected (such as Gimp). It's rather frustrating not being able to promote my favorite editor.
A comment on the idea "new widget idea for wakoopa" in Wakoopa:
Flash anybody? It's more common place for use in widgets now than you might think. – Dave, on April 22, 2009 12:15
