Thanks Lucy! That fixes half of the problem, that is, where the links are in the body of the message. What I'd like to know now, is how to change the colour of the links for the "From:", "to", etc in the header. If we can figure out how to chnage those colours, we're off to the races! <grin>
Thanks for your help!

A comment on the problem "Changing link colors in Thunderbird 2." in Mozilla Messaging:
Thanks for the suggestion Lucy, but unfortunately this doesn't work. The links for which colours can be changed are all in the "editor" rather than in "mailnews", which is where I assume the Thunderbird message display drivers get their instructions. What I suspect needs to happen is that entries for mailnews.link.color or mailnews.reply_header_color need to be created. Since I don't know the internal workings of the software, these are only suggestions. I suppose I could download the source and have a look to see what would ned to be done to impliment this feature, but thought I'd ask first if an entry should be added in the config editor to do what I'm looking for.
Thanks for your help!

Changing link colors in Thunderbird 2.How can I change the color of links such as from:, to:, and active links in Thunderbird 2? Currently it is set to dark blue, but I use a blak background (High Contrast Black colour scheme in Windows XP).
