Dear mizipzor,

I'm sorry that the Referd favicon isn't showing on your Activity Stream. Referd.info is a really cool site, and I like the idea of having the YouTube videos you've favored in the Activity Stream.

The best thing to do will be to contact the folks at Referd.info and ask them to add a favicon to their site so that will show on your chi.mp site. Right now it appears as though they do not have one and that is why it is shown as white.

Please let us know if you run into problems.

Hi Draketex,

I am sorry but our Terms of Service state that you are only allowed to register one free .mp domain name. If you would like to register more than one .mp domain, you may do so by going to http://get.mp and purchasing as many domains as you would like for $20 (USD) per year. Once you have purchased your .mp domains you may link them to one place or do with them as you wish.

As far as registering your initials, you may register domain names that are four characters or more.

Dear Hemil,

I am really sorry that the Facebook service is showing up four times but the good part is it's easy to remove.

To remove the other three Facebook services:

-> Login to hemil.mp
-> Click on Content
-> Under Edit My Services you should see four Facebook icons
-> Click on one of the Facebook icons
-> In the upper right corner you will see a Remove This Service button, click on that
-> And click Ok

You will need to repeat these steps for the other Facebook icons. I apologize for the inconvenience.

The Facebook one time code is much like the Twitter OAuth.

With the current Facebook API we are using, very occasionally you will need to re-authenticate and we apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. We are working on a way to notify our owners when this happens. Please bear with us in the mean time.

In the meantime, may I suggest brightkite (http://brightkite.com/) if you would like to use a location base service. I've seen a few other chi.mp owners who have their brightkite activity in their activity stream showing their location.

I am very sorry that your friends are having trouble viewing your site. I think allowing your friends to login with their Google, Yahoo, Facebook, Twitter, OpenID, etc. accounts is a great idea and we are looking into ways to find a better selector. I will also add this to our list of feature requests.

In the meantime, if your friends would like to view one of your private Personas:

-> Have them click on the invitation link
-> For your friends who have an OpenID, have them type in their OpenID and click Login. *If they have a chi.mp site, their OpenID is "yourdomainname.mp"
-> For your friends who don't have an OpenID, they can get one by going to http://chi.mp
-> Once they login with their OpenID, they will need to enter their password
-> They will be taken to the OpenID Confirmation page. Click Confirm
-> After clicking confirm, they should be taken to your private Persona

OpenID is like your identification card for the Internet. It's a way of identifying yourself no matter which website you visit. It simplifies having to remember multiple usernames and passwords by having you remember only one username and one password. When you login to a site using your OpenID, your provider tells the websites you're visiting this is who you are, and verifies it.

Hi Nick,

You should now be able to embed a DocStoc document in your miniblog. I just tested it out and it worked. You will need to change the size of the embed image as the default size is a little too big to fit in the frame of the miniblog.

About Me Editor

We're up and running again. We added an html editor to the About Me section on your chi.mp site. Now you’ll be able to display a photo, embed a YouTube video, add bullet points, change the font, etc.

If you experience any problems, please let us know.
