Please add the CITY to the iPhone listing. Without the city it can be impossible to tell which Starbucks ro Target is being referenced. Street names alone with no city named are NOT enough.

Are there additional special reqt's for Super User badge aside from 30x/mo in the same city?

eg. daytime only? multiples excluded?

I suggest that if "terminal A" is within "ATL airport" then:

checking into terminal A counts as 1 check-in at 1 place
a subsequent checkin at ATL is not a new checkin since terminal A is within ATL

likewise if the order is reversed:
checkin into ATL counts a 1 checkin at 1 place.
a subsequent checkin at Terminal A is just a refinement and is not a new checkin, but replaces the previous one

in either case a subsequent checkin at Terminal B at ATL is a new checkin.

Richard Lillis' reply to "Vote down/out non-tips? Add "reviews"? Something must be done." was just promoted to the most useful! David Sanger and 2 other people think it's one of the best replies.

I think it would also be a good idea if a tip earned weight by people clicking "Add as to do" or "I've done this". As a tip gets more of these clicks by users the tips with the most activity float to the top of the list so that the better quality tips become more visible.

When searching based on tags, use a synonym list so that "clothing" and "clothes" ,
"tacos" and "taqueria" give the same results

Like Google suggest, use AJAX to suggest tags as characters are typed. This will help with terminology like clothing vs. clothes for clothing store.

Dennis. will you have a way to split locations?
If you add Oakland, then lots of San Francisco locations in the East Bay will move over, unless you drop the unique city structure when you can check in from anywhere
