david wells replied on May 07, 2009 12:13 to the question "Does anyone get choppy video in firefox and safari?" in Apple:
Choppy video is usually a result of low memory, busy cpu, or slow(ish) network connection. With 4Gigs, that shouldn't be a problem unless you've got 12 other apps running, if you haven't restarted is a few days, then reboot to quit all apps and clear your memory. [good weekly maintenance] Also check your network connection, if it's sharing bandwidth w/ other local computers or on a cable modem where you share access w/ your neighbors. Then you can't control that, but you can hold off clicking PLAY (or click the PAUSE) for a few moments longer than usual to buffer more video so it tends to stutter less. Watch the little preload line grow across the bottom of the video--wait for it to get half way (or at least a 1/3) before hitting PLAY
Good luck.

david wells replied on May 06, 2009 22:34 to the question "help please" in Apple:
Not sure I understand, so let me ask some questions.
On reboot or login, you get an iTunes agreement window saying "Agree/Disagree" and you can't do anything else? Click "Agree" and it should load up your iTunes program and then you can sync. Unless, you've got iTunes-store bought files that came from another account (your different machine or someone else's) You can only play files you bought or have authorized for your machine.
If this doesn't help, give us more detail and we'll see what we can do...
david wells replied on April 17, 2009 18:15 to the problem "Honda Fit barely breaking 20mpg/city!" in Honda:
*If you've burned the car in some cleansing ritual, please ignore this response*
Your driving style sounds appropriate for good 28-30+mpg, so I wonder if either your tires are very low (run them at or slightly above the door sticker PSI) or are you carrying a bunch of (heavy) stuff in your car? Weight and Rolling resistance are key elements. If you answer 'no' to both, then see the dealer. I've got an Accord Hybrid (w/ the V6) and still get 32mpg combined, so yes your Fit should be doing better than that.
Good luck!
david wells marked one of Vitor Pereira's replies in Honda as useful. Vitor Pereira replied to the question "how do i find the code for the anti theft device for my radio if i bought the car used and there is no manual".
david wells replied on April 17, 2009 18:07 to the idea "Car division similar to Scion" in Honda:
Well, the Element was supposed to be semi-competitive to the Scion Boxes. But it was(is) more expensive and all us 40+ y/o parents are buying them up. I think the North American Honda market is pretty stodgy and Honda doesn't want to wow us too much and have us keel over w/ a heart attack. (I'm just guessing)
The Fit is pretty hip, I think. But don't write Honda off totally, as they do produce some zippy (Kei) sized cars for asian markets, no chance us seeing them over here though :(

Jon, when you have a moment, could you remove my park-residing barber shop? Thanks!
