David Ing replied on October 29, 2009 20:37 to the problem "Ping.fm not currently updating Brightkite" in Ping.fm:
I was looking at http://brightkite.com/people/daviding... , and noticed that the <place> of the check-in and note were different ... and the note was 25 days out of place. Thus, ping.fm may not place the note (of the status change) in the right field.</place>-

A comment on the question "Why wont my grooveshark work? :(" in Grooveshark:
LiquorKraZy, thanks for your approach. (I started Sarah's approach, and then noted your easier method while the Flash upgrade was downloading).
I had first tried to run Grooveshark on Opera 9.64 under Mythbuntu (Ubuntu 8.10) but that wasn't happening. I'll now use Firefox for Grooveshark instead. – David Ing, on August 09, 2009 18:39

David Ing started following the idea "want to be able to make the sidebar even wider" in Flock.
David Ing replied on March 19, 2009 14:45 to the idea "Add FriendFeed to the services supported" in Flock:
If Flock doesn't take on Friendfeed as a native feature, is it going to (a) encourage using a Firefox plugin, or (b) encourage moving more content over to Firefox?
I've just discovered the MySocial 24x7 plugin for Firefox at http://mysocial247.com/ . Sarah Perez reports it's "under new management" at http://www.readwriteweb.com/archives/... .
I haven't installed this sidebar yet ... I prefer async feeds via Feed Demon ... but am watching this.-

coComments repeatedly sends e-mails, plus feed to FriendfeedI've had the same comment repeated 13 times, with e-mail messages. If you look at http://friendfeed.com/daviding , you'll see the "Podcasts: What’s in your list? (The bamboo raft)" coming in from http://aaronkim.wordpress.com .
David Ing shared an idea in Dopplr on June 29, 2008 19:15:
Multi-stop profiles: morning, afternoon, evening?I've been planning out a 3-week trip at http://www.dopplr.com/traveller/david... , and the order of places is getting mixed up. (There's a combination of trains, planes and automobiles).
I don't think that hour-by-hour projections are necessary or productive, but it might be helpful to at least have an option to break down the day by morning, afternoon and evening. When I leave a hotel in one city in the morning, have a meeting in the afternoon, and then check into another hotel in the afternoon, this would at least cause the ordering of the stops on the profile to be correct. (I don't really want people to geolocate me, but I've already had associates note that I'm in town, and suggest we get together).
