A comment on the idea "Offline support idea: Walla-marks?" in Gowalla:
Through the offline check-in process Aaron just described ;) Though admittedly, these spots would likely be less popular. That said, it seems like a logical feature to add, if only to simply cover you when you should have signal, but don't. – David Zumini, on December 16, 2009 21:51-

Move The Mini ToolbarI'd like to see an option to move the mini toolbar to be horizontally at the bottom right of the page. Better yet, I'd like to see the mini toolbar reside in the status bar at the bottom of my browser. It seems like a good place for it to sit.

Improved Facebook SharingI like that I can easily post my check-in to but I'd like to see a small map posted alongside what is shared as opposed to the graphic that's there now. It would be more relevant in my opinion. Just my $0.02!-

Inverse Y-Axis Controls?Years of playing FPS games with inverse y-axis controls (down looks up, up looks down) have made it so I really can't effectively control without them. I'm sure I'm not alone in this preference. Are there any plans to incorporate such controls in a future update? It would make the game much more playable for me, thanks!

A comment on the problem "Group aggregation fail" in HootSuite:
I'll keep watching it - but it is clear that it isn't pulling all the information all the time & I'm still getting "No Results Found" quite often (refreshing the column multiple times usually helps, but not always). – dzumini, on August 19, 2009 18:40
A comment on the problem "Group aggregation fail" in HootSuite:
It's a sporadic issue - sometimes groups simply won't load either, sometimes they only load 1-2 members, & sometimes they work just fine. I'm assuming since they use the search api there's either an issue with the connection there or something wrong with Twitter search itself? – dzumini, on August 18, 2009 23:15

A comment on the idea "Viewing Individual Accounts in New HootSuite" in HootSuite:
Right, which sort of works, though I'd want to see recent messages, DMs, @ replies, etc. As such, I'd have to make a column for each, and for each account. For just a few accounts, it's not a big deal, but when managing a larger number, it becomes a bit of a hassle. I was just wondering if there will be a way to get a better overview "at a glance" like I could in the old HS. Thanks! – dzumini, on July 29, 2009 22:44

Viewing Individual Accounts in New HootSuiteI do love the tabs/columns layout of the new HootSuite, but it comes with the loss of a very important function for me. I oversee a number of accounts that I don't manage directly. I still need to be able to check in on them periodically to see what's going on and how well my editors are doing. With the old HootSuite, I was able to simply jump to that account to see all relevant material. Now, I'd have to create tabs just for these accounts. Since I'm not actively editing these accounts, these tabs would take too much time/space to really make it worth it for me.
As such, could there be a way to deal with this? Perhaps a "temporary tab" for a specific account that I'd like to view? When handling just a few accounts, it's not a problem, but as the number grows it becomes more of a headache and I'd like to see a better way to deal with this, thanks!
dzumini asked a question in HootSuite on July 21, 2009 19:38:
HS 2.0 doesn't select what account to post from?I have a tab with everything related to a specific account. If I click reply or RT in the Home Feed, it knows to post the message from that account. However, if I click either button from any other tab (sent, groups, etc) or just create a new post completely, I have to specify what account to post from. In 1.0 I could jump to a specific account and these things would be preselected for me, making it easy to keep track of where I'm posting. Now, I have to hand select what account to post from. Not a huge deal, but it is an extra step and I could see it being easy to send a message to the wrong account!
