I have the same problem! After 5 minutes I get 'SlideShare is undergoing maintenance and will be available soon'.
I was asked by a guy to fix 2 errors and now ...
where will all my views, embeddings, favorites and bookmarks go?.

Where should I send the fresh update ?

problem with editI tried to edit my uploaded slides, but after a long time it said done and gave me and oops sign. My original slides were gone and I am not able to bring them back. This is the second time this happened to two different slide shows. I reported this problem and month ago but no one assisted with this.
Would appreciate if you can assist. Here is the URL:

Myself also having a problem to re-edit my file, it appears to be loading but after a long time the browser states "done" and the old slideshow is still there. I've tried, deleting, it won't, I've tried erasing the url with the audio link and starting all over, same thing. Could someone pls state if this just too much traffic or if something is wrong? thanks!!!

Problem in re-uploading the file after editingWhen editing my uploaded file and uploading it, I am getting a message 'SlideShare is undergoing maintenance and will be available soon'. With this message, I am afraid I may loose all the embedding done via my slides and the favorites bookmarked/linked to it. The files name still shows under the search. Here is the original link: http://www.slideshare.net/sabeel/isla...
Please assist.

Question again, when we embed the slides in our website, are the slides suppose to play on our site, or does the link takes us to slideshare.net site? thanks":
Hey, There is a joomla plugin for SlideShare. Try it, maybe it will solve your problem.

This is probably with your publishing software, which looks to be Joomla. I don't know anything about that software, but it may require an extension or plugin to properly render javascript widgets like this. You can check on their site, perhaps here: http://extensions.joomla.org/

I think there is some problem with the code that you have embedded. Go back to your slides and make sure you copy the whole code from your slides (from the box titled: Embed in your blog).
You will find examples of what the slideshow embedded into your blog should look like

Thanks for the reply,
here is the link to my site: http://chooseislam.org/
I tried to insert, embed, my sample slides, as you can see from the icon of slideshare. When I click on 'view' i was under the impression that the slides will play on my site, but instead it takes my to your site.
Appreciate your assistance,

Sorry! Ate too much turkey (actually there is no excuse)
Anyway, the slides are supposed to play on your site, the link at the bottom right is supposed to take you to the url for the those slides on SlideShare. If you send me a link to where your slides are embedded, I might be able to help you.
Thanks!
