See what city friends are in on iPhone AppOn the iPhone App in the section "Friends in Other Cities" we see a list of our friends with the last venue they checked in at.
Unfortunately we don't see what city that venue, and therefore friend, is in. For those of us who have friends who travel a lot it would be nice to know where they are.
Currently the only way I've found to find out what city the venue is in is:
1) Click on the friend's Checkin
2) Click on the Venu in their profile
3) Click on the Details tab
4) Click on the Google map
5) Manually zoom out, with pinch in on the iPhone, until I can see the city...
I think this would be a very useful addition/modification to the system.
Thanks!

I was just going to add this. "Glad" someone else finds this as a problem as well.
I have some tips I've left where there are spelling errors or even content errors. I can delete them. But I can't edit them.
For the moment I'm having to copy the tip, delete the tip, add a new tip, paste the old text, edit the tip and save the "new" tip
We should be able to edit our own tips.-

Add a notes field to VenuesI think it would be very useful if there was a (relatively small) noted field at the bottom of the Venue details.
At the moment I add a Tip to be able to show opening hours, local métro (tube/subway) stop and that sort of thing. These are details which should remain attached to the Venue.
Thanks.

Hey I would gladly go through all of the setup information necessary, even if it is a "lousy user experience" in order to get Paris France on the system.
I think we're one of the biggest tourist sites in the world and it would be great if people could use your service in our great city.
Let me know...

Helpful videos on the webI think it would be great to be able to see the help videos and information here on the web rather than only on my iPhone.

I agree with AJ's Mom. I've had this " problem" from the beginning. I made sure that I never check the tickbox to have my comment published on Facebook and yet there it is every time.
Although your solution worked it should be the other way around. If you provide a tickbox underneath every comment then the default behaviour should be unpublished rather than published. That tickbox serves no purpose as whether one ticks it or not the comment is published.
Thank you for your perfectly detailed reply and solution which worked immediately.
A comment on the question "Change Twitter ID in Twinkle?" in Tapulous:
Perhaps I'm running a different version than you? I can't see where I can tell what version I'm running. When I go to Settings - Identity I have the Settings button in the upper left and the blue Save button in the upper right. On my screen the Save button is where you say the Edit button is. I haven't figured out (yet) how to do screen captures on the iPhone or I'd show you... – dcefrance, on July 29, 2008 08:53

Thanks Chris for your rapid reply. The problem is solved now and you pointed me in the right direction.
However it wasn't quite so simple. I had already looked in there...
1. Settings
2. Identity
3. There is no "Edt". Click on the small greater than sign to the right the On/Off switch next to Twitter

Change Twitter ID in Twinkle?Ho do I change my Twitter ID on Twinkle? I have a new Twitter account I want to use instead of the one I used when I first installed the app.
