Yes, we used to be able to do this, and then it stopped, around May for me. I don't have a smartphone or any kind of mobile web, so SMS is the only option I have for receiving tweets on my phone. I'm following over 500 people but at any one time I probably only need to get tweets from 50 on my phone. Not being able to go through my following list and turn on or off mobile updates for each person is inefficient, and so ineffective I can't use the service most of the time.
I now have a button to add/remove each user to/from lists from my following page—why can't I have a button to do the same for mobile updates?-

Oh, okay. No, I think I'm having a different tag problem. Thanks though! – DDog, on February 26, 2009 19:47

I have this problem too--if I want the majority of my transactions at a grocery store to go under Groceries, but I occasionally shop at this grocery store for Girl Scouts (for which I must be reimbursed and want to track separately), I can't create any rules for this grocery store because the rule will apply to everything. I'd rather set up a "primary rule" that will initially add the Groceries tag because that's what I want most of the time, but allow me to remove Groceries and add Girl Scouts on an individual basis without changing every other transaction associated with the store.-

Track payment method separately from other tagsI'd like a way to track payment method (debit, check, cash, paypal) separately from other tags (food, rent, gifts).
Right now, I have tags for cash, credit, debit, paypal, and check so I can keep track of *how* I paid for things. However, when I view my reports by expense, transactions seem to be grouped by the tag that comes first alphabetically; so my pie graphs end up looking 7/8ths "Payment Method" which will only drill down to Debit, Cash, Check, etc instead of to the categories associated with the nature of the transaction such as Groceries, Car Maintenance, etc.
When I drill down on, say, Food (if there's any Food transactions not sucked into Payment Method), the transaction list captures Groceries, Eating Out, etc, but only the transaction(s) that weren't defined as Payment Method on the top-level pie chart are displayed in the Food pie chart.
If I'm just missing something and there's a way to fix this I haven't figured out, please let me know.

I would love a check number field. Right now I have to put it in the title.
As for payer/payee, I title my transactions with the individual or business who is on the other side of the transaction, and put the details of what the transaction was for in the file/note/URL field, and the broad categories in the tag field.
For example, a trip to the grocery store is titled "Giant Food," I put my shopping list in the note field, and "Groceries, Debit" in the tag field.
DDog shared an idea in Buxfer on February 26, 2009 18:09:
Income as a budget categoryI tag my income with things like Salary, Parents, etc., and I want to be able to set up a budget categories for income that I can track with the normal expense categories on the Budget screen. Having a budget for expenses is more useful when I can compare my expected/allowable expenses with my expected/actual income. I know I can view my actual to-date income on the Reports screen, but I would like to be able to enter expected income on the Budget screens as well, so I can easily make sure my planned expenses for the month do not exceed my expected income for the same period.
I generally treat any positive difference between income and expense from the previous month as savings, so don't really use the rollover feature. With a combination income/expense budget feature, under-budget values from previous months could accrue to both their respective expense categories and a rollover category to keep things balanced.
I love being able to change my budget on a monthly basis without affecting previous months, but not being able to track my expected income the same way is a major stumbling block for me. If this is already a "feature" but just takes a little creativity to implement, please let me know!
