We Canadians really need this even more than the US, in fact, because our texting charges are so high. There are only 2 carriers you'd have to deal with, too (Rogers and Fido, which is actually owned by Rogers). Please look into it!

Ah, logged out and logged back in, and that seemed to get past the error (at least so far). That was weird, as I tried that earlier and it had no effect.

On http://barcamp.org/BarCampVancouver2009. I'm logged in as ddrucker@mac.com. I click on the Create a Page link (upper right), and see:

"You must be logged in as a writer, editor, or administrator to create pages. You are currently logged in"

Seems like some data is missing somewhere... Could it be a glitch between OpenID and logging in with my email?

Was able to create a new page a while ago, but now I get the message that I need to be a writer or administrator, and that I'm now logged in... (as what, it doesn't say). Any idea what might be happening?

I liked the editing options, but I'm wondering if there aren't some ads that don't need all of that info. Perhaps Choosing 'For Sale' then (thru some AJAX work) then shows a bunch of more fields that are only appropriate when someone would want to contact me about the ad. Otherwise, those fields are a bit overwhelming.

Also, in the current implementation, you have to make a choice of 'Not for sale' before even updating a bit of the description or you get an error. That's a problem. I just wanted to try out editing the description, but couldn't make any of my edits because of the lack of a value in the For Sale radio group. It either needs to be pre-selected, or if there is no value there, perhaps you could ignore it.

I'm not sure. I guess if it were an ad that was bought, it would take me to it (so I could see the reason the accomplishment was gotten).

Otherwise, it might take you to a page describing that accomplishment (if it were an award, reaching a certain level of cred, or some other good thing that didn't necessarily correspond to an actual piece of work.

So I can give cred and get cred. Not sure about the badges. They looked clickable but did nothing when I clicked on them (or was I looking in the right place?)
