Ask for access point, before connecting
Hi Buddycloud guys/girls. I recognized, that when I start the buddycloud application, Buddycloud always automatically tries to connect to my last access point. For example: I am at work with no free WiFi, so I use the "T-Mobile Internet" access point. Later at home I use my free WiFi, but the time I start Buddycloud it connect to the "T-Mobile Internet" access point. Automatically and faster (HDSAP) than I can abort. Wouldn't it be better to put something in that asks me, which access point I want to use?

    Just my 2cents ;)

    Regards
    /Chris

Thanks for your Support Mustafa. I redefined my "Home" Location with A-GPS, Cell Info and WiFi on. Works now perfect! Will do this for my other locations, too. You meant a-gps is better than gps? I turned a-gps off, because I don't now if I get charged for it. I recognized that when you relocate me, I have small data transfer packets via "o2 internet". So I turned Netbase GPS (a-gps) into integrated GPS.

By the way, I try to support your fine app as good as I can and give you feedback or ask for unclear things. But it allready seems perfect. I am curious what will come next! And you call it alpha!? ;)

High quality app, but good data plan needed
I really like this great application. For my oppinion the only "problem" withit is, that you always have to be online if you want to use it, as it's designed for. Data traffic costs vary from country to country and operator to operator. I'm @ T-Mobile Germany and can choose between 300 Minutes (4,95 €) 5 MB (4,95€) 30 MB (9,95€) and a flatrate (14,95€). "My" problem is, that I can often use WIFI (@home, my friends, McDonalds ;) and a few open WIFI spots I find. But I can't use this when I'm "one the road" It's cool to see how my location change from Home to Starbucks to near Work, to Work. The Idea behind this application is cool and I wonder, that this is still alpha! Can't image what it will look like when it's officially released!!

Thanks for this app. I will used as often as I can, but it depends an my data plan I have to choose and 14,95€ just for the fun of Buddycloud is high!

Location without GPS, but with cell info
I have the feeling, that, in case I only use the mobil cell info for locating me, does not work perfect. At home I set my "home" location with GPS, to save memory I turned the GPS function off. Yesterday my location changed from HOME to NEAE HOME and KIEL (the city I live). I guess the cell info has a big radius and GPS is a lot more accurate. I will take a look if this is often a one time and give feedback, but GPS drain memory. And if I'm right, Buddyclouds check my location every 3 minutes?
