A comment on the problem "Unable to use near or within query in twitter search" in HootSuite:
Perhaps you could add support for or indicate how to use the geocode parameter which is supported by the Twitter Search API ? – Dean Taylor, on August 02, 2009 22:06
A comment on the problem "HootSuite contact page unusable to report issues" in HootSuite:
I have tested this and can be reproduced in the following browsers on Windows Vista:
* Internet Explorer 8 (8.0.6001.18813)
* Google Chrome (3.0.196.0 and 3.0.196.2)
* Firefox (3.5)
* Firefox (Nightly / Minefield) (3.6a1pre)
I believe the best way of correcting this fault would be to change the HTML code for the IFRAME,
Specifically changing scrolling="no" to scrolling="auto"

Dean. – Dean Taylor, on August 02, 2009 14:27

HootSuite contact page unusable to report issuesHootSuite contact page unusable to report issues
Page: http://hootsuite.com/contact
When attempting to use the Get Satisfaction embed placed on the page in certain states the embed expands beyond the area but no scroll bars appear making it unusable.
Access to support is not where you want to have issues people.

Dean Taylor shared an idea in Setster on July 23, 2009 20:31:
Add ability to change logo and theme / brand the widgetAdd ability to change logo and theme / brand the widget so it is more in keeping with site.
The brand name Setster means nothing to my customers and is perhaps just confusing.
Simply an option to remove the Setster logo may well suite as the widget is already placed in a site with the required branding.

Hi,
Wes I am indeed to frustrated - however the UK telephone number system alone is not a simple one. Calling for the display if numbers for different cities to be displayed in deferring numbed groupings.
Ofcom sets out how telephone numbers should be displayed, this is a great resource for that information:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/UK_telep...
However having said that this is a complex task there are 2 key points:
1. It is expected for Soocial to handle this complexities for the user.
2. There is a generic mechanism for the display of UK numbers, this is outlined at the bottom of the Overview section here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/UK_telep...

Dean.-

Merge broken for numbers with spaces or international prefixPhone numbers not merged correctly, phone numbers with spaces or international prefix incorrectly treated as new number.
The following numbers are the same number - but are incorrectly treated as different numbers when merging contacts:
"07799612345"
"(0)7799612345"
"+44 (0) 99612345"
"+44 (0) 99612 345"
"+4499612345"
"+4499612 345"
"0779 9612 345"
The majority of my duplicate seem to have this issue.
