It doesn't fork into the background. You can force the first one into the background by appending an & on the command. After that, then you can send commands to the instance in the background.

There is redundancy built into the stored data, and there is overhead to each file. I did the rough calculations and I am not surprised it is not completed yet.

About half my library is missing metadata (Filename is shown as Title).

When I play the song it shows in the Now Playing bar but doesn't update library.
How do I get songbird to refresh the metadata in the library?

you need the machine.dat for "operation hours" and BOTH nodeTable.ctm & Fragments2 folder for 32GB.

Note: The wuala "Data" folder may only exist on one computer at a time.

That's the problem, for the system to operate properly you have to let people have access. By restricting traffic your messing with that.

It may be possible to work that into the uptime system. Basicly an uptime limit which would make the network use more redundancy at your expense. But I don't think such an option will be available soon. There is a low priority feature request on the list that would let you fine tune that.

My ISP has started a 100GB monthly cap with no way to extend it (It's funny how they won't take your money...). Wuala can eat through it but if i limit it to 50GB it is fine. I have also noticed, that overtime bandwidth from trading curves off. My guess is people access files a lot soon after uploading but then it becomes less over time and usage stays steady if part of a group.

I should run the numbers here when I get my new internet plan. It may be more cost effective for my to Buy 100GB for Wuala for 1 year ($160) than to up my service.
