Thanks to both of your for your quick responses. I just sent a note to support@getsatisfaction.com. Something very strange is happening. Sometimes when I click the link for these items (including this one) the new comments are missing. Sometimes they are there. I'm on Safari on Mac. However, another employee in my company is seeing this as well and she is on PC.
It's really good to know that you aren't deleting anything. I was getting paranoid!

My response to http://getsatisfaction.com/reqall/top... has also been removed. Please let me know ASAP what is happening so that I can decide whether we will continue with GS.

Deb asked a question in Get Satisfaction on December 08, 2009 04:12:
Response to GS item has been deletedI posted a response on http://getsatisfaction.com/reqall/top... earlier today. The response was successful. In fact, someone who is following the post forwarded it to me so I have the content. However, that response has now disappeared. When I try to repost the content, I get "posting reply" forever. What is up? The content of the post did not have anything that should have been censored. This is the first time GS has failed me in this way. I'm hoping this is just some kind of technical bug.
Deb replied on December 08, 2009 04:08 to the problem "Location services on BlackBerry Tour 9630 always Scanning for Satellites" in reQall:
Weird, I commented here awhile ago, but my comment seems to have disappeared. Hopefully Verizon doesn't have the ability to delete my posts on GS. If that were the case, we'd have to go to another customer service system. Anyone on GS listening? Luckily, Maxx had forwarded the post to me, so I have the copy to repost. Unfortunately, it won't let me re-post it. I'm going to send a note to GS and see if they can tell me what is happening.

@maxx233, I posted some links on the other GS item. I've seen the forum post you mention above previously. It's confusing because other forum posts say that in addition to having it signed by RIM you need to get the credentials from Verizon, which you get by contacting them, and here we go around the circle again. This is one of the things I contacted them about.
I've also asked our BB team to review all of these posts again to see if there's a way to at least get the Tour and Storm going. I'll let you know what they say.
Thanks again for the help!

@maxx233 Thanks so much for the offer! Here's the original forum post that I entered: http://developer.verizon.com/forum/po.... I have also sent multiple emails to developerrelations@verizonwireless.com without a response.
In my most recent searching, I found the following forum post: http://developer.verizon.com/forum/po... While there's some confusing info in both of these, the most definitive seems to be
"So I finally got definitive word back from Verizon last week. Their official word is that right now no one get's access to the Verizon PDE. They are working on a program to make this access public and hope to have something ready near the end of the year or in Q1." and
"A-GPS applications as you know require authentication credentials, but we don't have a self-serve process through VDC to get such credentials, and so we're planning that for an upcoming phase on VDC (don't have a date right now, hopefully early next year)."
We would love any help you can give us on this. If they want to contact me, my address is deb.miller@reqall.com.
Thanks!
Deb replied on December 05, 2009 00:35 to the question "How can I move a task from My-To-Dos into My-Notes or My-Shopping ?" in reQall:
Moving items between collections is available now on the web and BlackBerry. It isn't yet on the iPhone. We know that's not good enough.
Please know that I and the entire team hear you loud and clear. It bothers us that we have not delivered this earlier ... much earlier. And for that we are sorry. Early on with reQall, the feedback we heard was that it was nice keeping things small and limited. It's clear that these limitations need to go away to enable you to use reQall the way you want to.
We are actively working on this now. It's part of a much bigger change which will bring in some other great improvements that users have asked for. We expect this to be in your hands in early 2010. As much as I'd love that to mean January 1, at 12:01am, it won't -:) We'll try to be more specific as things come together for this release.
Deb replied on November 29, 2009 20:35 to the question "A service that goes from free to 120 dollars a year in 2 nano seconds?" in reQall:
Jim, we do not do this. The only text messages we send are 1) a text message with your password if you sign up via phone and 2) text message reminders. We NEVER give out your number to another service, nor do we solicit for other services.
Can you tell me what number you called? I want to verify that there is not some problem with any of our phone numbers being scammed by another service.
Thanks for your help,

Deb replied on November 29, 2009 02:06 to the question "gift list how?" in reQall:
Hi, Betsie. Here's what I did. I created a "Place" called "Gifts". It's a place without a location. Then when I create an item that is a gift idea, I assign it to Gifts. On the iPhone or BB, you select the "At" and choose Gifts. On the web, you edit the item after you create it to assign it to Gifts.
Hope that helps!

Deb replied on November 25, 2009 18:15 to the question "Verizon supporting the GPS function a problem?" in reQall:
Just so everyone knows, we did hear from Sam's friend. They were able to add a piece of hardware, a Bluetooth GPS device, and then use that to get the location data. Our guess is that most of our users would not want to have to purchase and carry another device to make this work. Let us know if you disagree.
We still keep trying to figure out a way around the Verizon blockage. I even corraled a Verizon exec at a recent conference. No luck--he just referred me to the Verizon Developer Community, which is where we've been posting and no one answers. As Jessi says, we're really frustrated.
